Supply Chain Footprint
FAL does not own or operate oil palm plantations and mills, thus 100% of the oil comes from aggregators, refiners or traders.
Traceability
FAL’s action plan consists of:
- Establishing baseline traceability scores for palm oil.
- Working on traceability to mill by collecting mill name and GPS coordinates.
- Working with suppliers in the mapping of their supply base and achieve traceability to plantations.
Supplier's Excellence
FAL plans to follow through on the gaps of our suppliers according to the volumes they provide, execute the risks-based approach in the main sourcing area, and identify potential improvement, program and support needed for suppliers to comply with our policy and realize the full potential of palm oil.
Partnership and Collaboration
FAL sources from suppliers which are compliant with our sustainability policy and will collaborate with them to address supplier gaps towards excellence.
Our milestone is to create partnerships that leads to enhancing production, protection of environment, increase volume of RSPO materials processed in our facilities and also deliver tangible impact on environmental safeguards, social development and economic prosperity.
